Increased absorption of elemental Fe. Increased urinary excretion of ascorbic acid & decreased excretion of aspirin when co-administered. Prolonged presence of paracetamol in blood. Not compatible in soln w/ aminophylline, bleomycin, erythromycin, lactobionate, nafcillin, Na nitrofuratoin, conjugated estrogens, Na bicarbonate, sulfafurazole, diethanolamine, chloramphenicol Na succinate, chlorothiazide Na & hydrocortisone Na succinate. Interfere w/ blood thinning treatment.
